For this manual, Barbara performed the needs analysis, outlined the entire manual, and researched and wrote sections of the manual. The objectives were to provide new health clinic supervisors with an overview of the organization, services, and procedures and to provide experienced health clinic supervisors with a review of the organization, services, and procedures.
The manual used in more than 50 clinics in British Columbia, and it got excellent reviews from clinic supervisors. Barbara received the 2006 Executive Director’s Award of Excellence for her work on the manual.
